Meaghan + Arthur are a fun, classy, down to earth couple who live in downtown Richmond, so Byrd Park and Carytown made such a fun location for their engagements! They described themselves at two 80 year-olds-living in 28-year-old bodies and love nothing more than a slow morning snuggled up in sweatpants sipping coffee and listening to Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline together. I think that is the sweetest thing and it makes me dream of a slow morning like that. The other things Meaghan said that I thought was just the best was,  “While I’m the bold and brash one who comes from Boston, he’s the slow and sweet southern boy from Virginia. I like to say that we’re a little bit country and a little bit rock’n’ roll, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s been 6 years of making our story together, and I can’t wait to see where the rest of our lives take us.” Using her words because I couldn’t have said it better! Hanging out with them during the shoot showed this to be exactly right! It’s clear to be seen they are best friends and just genuinely enjoy each other’s company! Those are the best sort of relationships! I’m excited for what their story holds as they move into a brand new chapter of marriage!
